Tonight on the New Wine Consumer live Internet radio show, we’ll talk about wine travel. Wine travel is a growing industry and becoming a competitive world. There are many small companies trying to make a living through wine tourism as well as some wine regions. One of their best advocates is the Global Wine Network of Great Wine Capitals. The site provides many resources for the cities of the network as well as for the wine traveler. TripAdvisor is one of their partners and just nominated Bordeaux as the best wine destination.

For those interested in the wine travel as an industry, there will be the 1st Wine Pleasures Wine Tourism Conference organized in Spain, in Sitges, on January 24-28, 2009. You’ll have more details about the conference by listening to our radio show tonight or by downloading it after its recording.
