Hi Manuel,
I understand you are upset by my comment - especially if you work for the vinho verde body. But my post was more a comparison between two appellations: vinho verde and beaujolais - where cheap poor quality wines damaged the reputation of otherwise great wines for many years. Languedoc as well as many other wine regions had the same problem. Up to now, I tasted very few interesting vinho verde as well as very few interesting beaujolais. That's why I was very attracted to the Casa de Cello wines. I'm not interested in other people's opinions - as famous or qualified they are - or in quantities. The wines are what I'm interested in and I can make my own opinion, even if it displeases some people. Let's agree we disagree or prove me wrong !

"low quality of 98% of vinho verde" - No comments regarding the objectiveness and impartiality of an observer who finds that 98% of a 50M liter harvest is trash and however manages to discover that 2 Vinho Verde producers ( out of 600 ) actually produce good wines. People like Mark Squires, Joshua Green and so many others clearly know nothing of wines... And the same goes to the consumer: Vinho Verde had i's peak export figures in 2009, having been growing for 10 years.
