A common thread to all of the top wine brands listed in your article is that they are inexpensive. When shopping at Trader Joes it is very common to see people loading up on cases of the $2 Chuck/Bronco. Even the cheap wines have improved greatly over the years. I read an article recently that in a tasting $2 Chuck prevailed over some $50 wines. All that said, I am very blessed to be living in the heart on Sonoma/Napa wine country surrounded by incredible passionate wine producers and will pass on drinking the wines listed in your article. Not snobbery, just that I can because I live here. Thanks for your informative article.
